This living room design was the start of what was to become, over the course of many years, a full house design.
The floor to ceiling stone fireplace was a cold presence in this space – the room cried for warmth. The solution?
We custom designed a streamlined, elegant surround that would showcase important pieces of artwork (and a new TV) as well a providing for much needed storage in this room. The light maple wood finish softly contrasts with and complements the adjacent kitchen. We chose soothing earth tones for the upholstered pieces. Not to be taken too seriously though, we added an oversized, brightly colored ottoman.
