My biggest takeaway (drum roll please) is that I will never plan another family trip without my travel agent. (Seriously, ask me for her contact info if you’re in need – here is her website: www.travelwithcara.com) I thought I could easily handle all the details—booking flights, scheduling tours, securing hotels, and reserving restaurants for a family of five, but the hours it stole from my schedule were exhausting. Managing all the moving parts of a family trip is overwhelming, which is why professional travel services are worth every penny.
